What is the first thing that comes in your mind when you hear ‘use and throw’ pens? Is it the same as that in case of the ‘crush after use’ plastic bottles? What happens of them ULTIMATELY?
Definitely, they are not going to be recycled more than a certain number of times. So, do we have any ‘dump whatever and however you want’ sink?
And one more question, of many to follow, what do we EXPECT as our FUTURE.
Yeah, ‘expect’ is what I have asked because the picture of what we deserve would slay us flat. We think that refilling a used up pen is not cool enough. We don’t care to carry our own cloth bags. The public transports are not the first choice, because it only the comfort of ours we care about.
A new theory suggests that their ‘Unchecked Dominance’ was the reason of Dinosaur’s extinction.
They didn’t care about other species. They exploited the ecosystems throughout the globe in an non
renewable rate. But it’s not the way livings live. And just clothe and glasses doesn’t eliminate us from
‘Animalia’. If goes an ecosystem, then, guess what, goes with it the constituents. Most of them. They
say ” Some snakes are breaking into the house.” I don’t think it’s the snakes who are breaking in.
We are Humans. Majestic. Powerful. We will live with Pride and Honour. We don’t need to win by
hook or crook. We will achieve by fair means. We don’t need to exploit other species’ share. We
don’t need to snatch. We are not the beggars. We are THE HUMANS. We rule the Earth and look
after the weak.
We all are aware of the reasons, benefits and the need. But many times we simply do not care.
Our is a mistake of ignorance. Unintended. Let us get over it. Avoid ‘use and throw’ pens. If you buy a pen, see that the riffles or cartridge are easily available. Grab a score of them.
Vanity should not become a catastrophe. Throwing away a used refillable pen still in good
condition does not fit our circle anymore. That’s enough reason for it to be eliminated.
Prevent ‘crush after use’ bottle. Carry your own bottled water. Fill it. Water vending machine is a
good substitute.
Carry your own bags. Minimize plastic. Save energy. There are thousands of things. Are we ready to do? Let us prioritize public transport. Let us hope their condition will be improved seeing the demand.
The most important is the need to become a Responsible Individual. You should see that you at least try to pay for whatever the help you. Be it from nature. We all want a good environment. But often we forget this.
We are simply UNEDUCATED and SHORT SIGHTED in the context that we cannot see the gain and loss quotient. We misunderstand the dollars as overall wealth and pay for it by breathing sooty air, eating adulterated diets and eventually not living. We exploit the nature to earn riches.
What do we do of the wealth? “They are for my children”, He would say. Because he doesn’t spend much of that. Father cares about his kids and pass the wealth to his successors. But what we fail to notice is what are we giving our offspring to enjoy this wealth. A dark sky? A starless night? Suffocating air to breathe in?
We want to give our children everything. Why don’t give this legacy, the one our forefather gave us.
Isn’t it the most precious. How many dollars can buy it?
What are we going to gift the coming generations?
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO BE REMEMBERED FOR?
A deadly, industrial noise polluted, silencing morning or a soft progressive awakening of the dawn?
Surely, the decision is ours to make.
