I Send My Storms to Her

I Send My Storms to Her

Little storms in my dry land,
I let them become tornadoes and hurricanes,
And with my eyes glued to the sky,
I wait for her to rain down on me,
And fill all my lakes and rivers that dried up,
With crystal blue water.

So I send my storms to her and wait for her rain,
But I forget that her lands are more barren than mine,
And she had been craving for the drought to end as well,
She wished for me to be her ocean,
Where her rivers and salts can pour in,
But I dried up every few drops she had left.
